I heard from my doctor last week and we have set my date to have my c-section - January 25, 2011
I am pretty excited but there is always a chance Mr. Keegan could make an appearance before then as it's only 5 days before my actual due date. Wouldn't that be crazy?! Planning a c-section and end up delivering naturally. I think if I was in labor and progressing (the problem last time) I would want to try and give it a shot.
So Keegan's birthday is set for 2 days before Aidan's! Poor boys...I hope they don't mind too much!?

30 Week Doctor Appointment Update
I had a great appointment today! Chris took the day off to come with me as we had questions about the scheduled c-section and birth control following.
We are pretty sure we have a date, January 21, 2011. That will be finalized in about 4 weeks.
The baby is measuring large! Which is great because with Aidan they were worried because he was so small. My blood pressure has been great! One of my MOPS friends suggested increasing my protein (as I should anyway) but to get around 70 grams a day. (I don't always reach my goal but I get pretty close) My blood pressure has gotten better and today was fantastic! Yay!
The doctor doesn't think I'll end up on bedrest or need medication - Thank goodness!
Also, we decided not to get my tubes tied, just yet. I know that we are very happy with 2 kids but we are still only 30 and I don't think this is a decision that should be made while I'm pregnant. So i am going to have the Mirena IUD put in. I have a couple friends that have it and like it. So it's worth a shot, worst case, I don't like it and have it removed. But it lasts for 5 years and at that point we will know if we want more kids or not.
Then Chris and I had lunch together! :)
Chris got a gym membership at Planet Fitness and has been SO good about going to work out! I am so proud of him!
So things are great around here!

Happy Veterans Day...and our 12 year anniversary!
I know it's silly but after all these years we still celebrate the anniversary when we started dating.
12 years ago Chris asked me to be his girlfriend and we haven't been apart since! So many people didn't think we would last, we were young and had a lot against us. But after all these years I still get excited when he calls and butterflies when he kisses me. :)
Next May will be our 10 year Wedding Anniversary!
Tonight we are having a baby sitter come over so we can go have dinner and do some shopping.

Christmas!

I have been in the Christmas spirit! Planning gifts, when we are going to put up the tree, lights and other decorations!
Today I made our Christmas cards. They turned out really neat! I found them on Tinyprints.com, it is actually a postcard that I was able to to write out a message, that they print on them, to make the holidays easier for me! :)
What do you think?!

Updates
Good Morning!
Halloween went well considering Aidan has hit the temper tantrum stage. He liked walking around the neighborhood but would throw himself down when he wasn't allowed to run into the street. But the big piles of leaves made him really happy!
He also was a stinker about letting us take his picture. So the pictures of him aren't great, but he was super cute dressed as a monkey! I found Gracie a banana costume but I ended up having to take it apart and stitch it back together to fit her little body. (Jen- I sewed by hand! lol)
Once Aidan was done with Trick-or-Treating (we only went to a few of our close neighbors houses and they all had a special treat for him) we came home and Aidan was being awful, so I put him to bed a little before 7pm. So Chris, Gracie and I sat outside and gave away candy. Gracie was a hit, she is the best dog ever! I never have to worry about her with kids and she just wanted everyone to pet her.
We ended up running out of candy (we had over 150 kids) so Chris and I curled up and watched a scary movie and went to bed. It was a great night!
Yesterday, I had a nice lazy day. I did do laundry and vacuum the house but I had a helper! :0)
Today, we have to go grocery shopping. So now I am trying to do meal planning.
I have the Christmas bug SO bad! I am ready to put up the Christmas tree and listen to Christmas music! Yesterday Chris and I sat down to work on our Christmas budget. Chris had gotten a VERY nice bonus this year (5 figures) so we were able to sock a bunch away and get all ready for the new baby. And I don't feel the normal holiday stress!
Tomorrow Gina is coming over for lunch and some chit chat. (we always watch 16 and Pregnant together)
Thursday, I have my Glucose test - yuck! I am just praying I don't throw up. Since everything makes me throw up. :-/ Plus my normal doctor visit.
Friday I have my MOPS meeting! Yay! :)
So next week is our (Chris and I) anniversary from when we started dating - November 11, 1998. So 12 years ago - after 3 months of "courting" me- He asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes. And the rest is history! <3

What a weekend!
Hi everyone!
It's been forever since I updated my blog. :)
MOPS on Friday went really well! I love the group and I look forward to making new friends! They have already invited me to a playgroup this Thursday. :)
Saturday night we did a trial run on the one girl we interviewed to babysit, because I really liked her. Chris and I went to dinner (just around the corner) and did some Christmas shopping. We were only gone 2 hours. She - Alicia - did really well and kept in touch with me via text and even sent a picture of Aidan. She brought Aidan some bubbles, a craft to do and a baby pumpkin to color on. When we came in Aidan was sitting on her lap watching cartoons. It was nice, I think he felt very at ease with her and had a good time. We have a Halloween party this Friday night, Aidan will already be in bed by the time we leave so Alicia will just be here making sure he is okay. She is great though, CPR certified, she's a CNA going to school to be a nurse
Ugh...so Chris has brought this nasty bug home from work. I'm not joking when I say his whole team has been out sick the last couple weeks.
Luckily, Aidan and I have really good immune systems and we had been fighting it off. Aidan and I got our flu shots Saturday morning, they wouldn't give one to Chris because he was sick. We were both fine, in fact I felt nothing from the flu shot.
Sunday, middle of the night, Aidan woke up with a fever. So we started him Tylenol & Ibuprofen, alternating them works the best!
He was all congested and coughing - just like Chris! We started the saline nasal drops/spray on him and they worked like a charm.
It was a rough day, but with a lot of cuddling and soothing and temp baths, he broke his fever Sunday night and has been fine since. Even his congestion is a lot better. This morning he is running around like a crazy boy!
Chris is STILL sick. I think he will have to go to the doctor. Unfortunately, I have picked up the bug. Sore throat, congestion...I am taking the over the counter stuff I am allowed to take and I using the saline spray (minus the snot bulb! LOL)
Oh and this weekend the baby, Keegan, and I were playing the poke back game! :-D I poke at him and he pokes back! I love it! How can I already be so in love with him?!
So I guess that's my update! I better go check on Aidan. I heard him jumping on our bed and watching cartoons. Good thing (being sarcastic) he's too smart for his own good and can turn on the TV via the remote (since it's wall mounted) and change the channel to Nick jr. He's a smart kid!
